Hi there!

My Name is Lauren, I reside in a VERY small town in Northern California (actual Northern California, about an hour from the Oregon border). I am a fraternal twin to my brother who held being older by a minute my whole life.

I think I will be a great addition to your family as I consider myself a, “old soul”. I’m a firm believer that being a guest in someone’s home (even if you say I’m family) you show thanks by helping in some way or another. I’m always asking how I can help because I love to stay busy and I know from experience, parents have a hard time telling me or being able to delegate tasks.

After high school I went to college and obtained a degree in the Culinary Arts field specializing in pastry. Attached to my profile there are pictures of my work as well as some of my savory dishes I have made. I have also obtained my CPR certification.

A random fact, I am sixth generation here in my county. I LOVE history so I could give you all the information of our family history. A lot of the times I say random facts of history from different time periods.

I currently take care of my grandmother (she’s the real historian who has taught me about our history) and have been for four years since my mother passed.

I have been an Au Pair before to two separate families, both in the United States. I have over 15 years of experience with children. Past families would have me; prepare daily meals, clean, wake and put the children to be, help with bathing if needed, help children with homework, create arts and craft activities, assist with parties or birthdays, taking and picking up children from the bus stop, and implementing new responsibilities for the children like teaching how to make their bed, helping with dinners or cleaning up their mess after play time.

I feel that I am a very outgoing and happy go lucky person. I am very patient with others as I know it takes time to learn or get to know new people.
