Lena, 19, deutsch, zurzeit in Deutschland sucht einen Job als Au Pair in Island, Norwegen, Schweden & Spanien

I started taking care of children in 2023 and already gained a lot of experience. I work in a "Mehrgenerationenhaus" (translated it would mean "multi-generationalhouse") where they offer many different courses, like cooking, chess, painting but also childcare and holiday camps. They have a monthly evening where I babysit up to 25 children (age: 1-12) together with 2 to 3 other people. I also worked in two different holiday camps. The first one was in my summer holidays last year. It was kinda like a mini city for children where they could work in different jobs, earn money and buy things. I was the boss of the painting workshop and looked after up to 8 different children every day. I was my first time beeing responsible for children on my own but it worked out so good. The second camp I joined was in the autumn holidays. We spent one week on a adventure playground and had the theme "halloween". As you can imagin, I spend a lot of time making vampires, pumpkins and ghosts as halloween decoration with the kids. We also drove to a huge pumpkin farm, that offers a trampoline park but also horses,... It was so much fun exploring the place with the children. In both camps, the children were about 6-12 years. I am currently still working in the "Mehrgenerationenhaus" and babysit every month. Right now, (January and February) they also offer dancing lessons especially for parents where I take care of the children together with my best friend, while the adults learn how to dance.
As you can see I have a lot of experience and I just love being around kids which is why I think that becoming an AuPair would be perfect for me.
