Minun nimeni on Dámaris, mitä kuuluu? Jag är 26 år och kommer från Colombia. Trevligt att träffas!
I want to be an au pair because I've worked passionately with children for a couple of years already, as a nanny and also being volunteer in different NGOs in my hometown, and since I've always wanted to do a cultural exchange to a different country, the au pair program allows me to experience a whole new culture while doing something that I love enjoying at its fullest.

I can tell you briefly that one of my strenghts is that I am a really patient person and I always keep trying to achieve my goals, so I am giving the best of me to this experience. I like to see the positive side of anything and try the most to make children feel safe and that they can trust in me as a family (since it's something that I do being a volunteer!).

I studied Linguistic and Literature at College, so I like to implement my knowledge to introduce books to children (which is something you can see on my photos) not only through reading but also with activities and crafts to keep them interested! I worked in the NGOs with children between 4 and 12 years old and had to work with all those ages at the same time so I know how challenging kids can be but also how creative and imaginative they are! And when I was a nanny, often stayed with children from 1 to 4 but also 10 - 12. For those ages, they were my cousins (which they are in some pictures with me); I also took care of some children from the NGOs as a request from their parents (they were from 1 - 7).
Finally, I can assure you that while I will be taking care of your children, I will also make sure they are learning and discovering new things by my side. I can not only be in charge of their meals, their hygiene and their safety, but also supporting them in their learning process as it's also such an important thing in their development as a person.
I hope to create wonderful memories with every member of my future host family and build a close bond.
