I have not yet been involved in an au pair program, but I have been fortunate enough to accumulate some child care experiences in the past, which not only gave me valuable parenting experience, but also gave me a deeper understanding of the growth needs and inner world of children.

I once took care of a relative's child at home when she was just a toddler. Her father died and her mother went out to work, so she lived with my family for four years. I was mainly responsible for her daily life during the holidays, including preparing meals, playing with her and supervising her to finish her homework. In this process, I learned how to make appropriate activity plans according to the child's age and interests, so that he can learn new knowledge and develop good habits in play. There are a lot of children in my big family. During my college years, I lived in a relative's home outside school. I would pick up and drop off their children from school every day, prepare breakfast for them, help them with their homework, play with them during holidays, and take care of my nephews and nieces, play with them and cook for them during holidays.

In addition, I have worked as a counselor and introducer for children at school activities. At that time, I was in charge of a group of 6-8 year old children with different personalities, some active, some shy. Through communication and interaction with them, I gradually got to know their preferences and needs, and tried my best to create a safe and pleasant environment for them. In this relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, I also explained to them some current projects on biodiversity conservation. In the process, I learned how to build a trusting relationship with my children and how to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations.

These experiences of taking care of children have made me more aware of the inner world of children, who need our love, patience and understanding. I also learned how to communicate with children, how to guide them to develop good habits, and how to deal with the problems they encounter as they grow up. These experiences will have a profound impact on my future parenting.

In my future au pair projects, I will make full use of these child care experiences to provide warm, loving and professional care for the children of host families. I believe that through my efforts, the children will be able to grow up healthily in a pleasant and safe environment, and I will also gain more growth and joy in the process.

Moreover, cultural exchange abroad can also improve one's language skills and communication skills. By communicating with the local people, we can use the new language more freely and express our thoughts and emotions more fluently.
