Dear Host Family,

My name is Ella and my passion is taking care of children.

I am 22 years old, and hold British and American citizenship. Childcare has always been a passion of mine, growing up I was the eldest of three sisters, and by default had some level of responsibility for the welfare of my two younger sisters. I currently am nannying for a family near where I live, two children aged two and six and have been working for them for just over a year as of December 2023. Other passions of mine include cooking, travelling, sailing, education, skiing, reading and painting. I love to be outdoors, particularly by the sea.

I believe being outdoors and active is an important part of child development so I would like to be with a family that has the same values, along with being creative and reading. For me it is very important that a child grows up in a healthy, safe and loving environment that encourages creativity, curiosity a cultivates a sense of confidence. By applying to be a nanny/au pair, it is my guarantee to ensure these values to the best of my ability, as the care of your child is just as important as my own wellbeing.

Currently I hold my STCW certification which includes security on ships, firefighting training, first aid and CPR certifications. English is my native language, but I am an intermediate in French, and a beginner in Russian. I would be more than happy to attend a language course for any languages. I have a US driver's license, and have held one for four years, with a clean record.
