Alexis (26 / Ms. ), Brazilian, Lawyer living in Brazil looking for Au Pair job in Germany for 12-24 Months

Hallo!

My name's Alexis, I'm 26 years old and I'm a lawyer. Currently, I've been looking into options for a sabbatical year, as I've graduated and started working without any pauses, and the idea to become an Au Pair came up. I'm a very flexible and open person, who loves to explore new cultures and meet new people, so the opportunity is exactly what I'm looking for. This would be my first time in the program, so I don't have any past experiences. My experience with children, tho, are mainly taking care of children in my own family, but as a lawyer I work with children as well. I'm a public defense attorney, and one of the few in my city with a permit to work with children and teenagers.

I speak fluent Brazilian Portuguese, English, and I believe I'm leveled at A2/B2 German, but I do not have a certificate as of now. I'm a very patient person, and I can adjust to new routines pretty quickly. Besides being a lawyer, I'm an amateur writer, I love wrestling, music and movies. I read a lot, as well.

Ideally I'm looking into staying between 10-12 months, but if we think we're a good fit, I'm willing to extend to 24 months as long as I can visit family for a couple of weeks. My preference is also to find a host family in Berlin, since I've been in the city twice in the past few years.
