Gemma (22 / Ms. ), American, Student - Social Science living in USA looking for Au Pair job in France for 7-12 Months

Hello, my name is Gemma! I am twenty-two years old and I grew up in California. I am about to graduate from University and I am looking to become an au pair in France to grow my French language skills. I have studied international relations for the past two years and aspire to do humanitarian aid work. I have taken some French classes and can read a bit of French but I am not conversational. The opportunity to learn French and become fluent is one of the things I am most excited about for becoming an au pair and it is very important to me.
I started babysitting when I was twelve years old and have continued to do so ever since. I have worked with babies as young as three months old and kids as old as sixteen. I primarily babysit for kids between the ages of three and seven. I began working as a sailing instructor when I was fifteen, teaching kids as young as seven how to sail small boats by themselves. Typically, I am leading a group of up to nine children through a two-week long all-day sailing class. I am responsible for their safety and teaching them while also making it fun! I am certified in CPR and basic first aid. love to be outdoors and you’ll often find me studying in my backyard or in cafés around town. I am a very calm, patient, level-headed person who is independent and responsible. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and family is very important to me. I love to be involved in my community and try to be kind and help others whenever possible.
