Laura (56 / Ms. ), American, Teacher living in USA looking for Caregiver for elderly & Granny Au Pair job in Canada & USA for 10-24 Months

I am an experienced mother, teacher and caregiver. I have two adult daughters who are university educated, bright and kind adults. I have experience teaching academics and enrichment to toddlers, school age children, teenagers and adults. I am always prepared, patient and set up people in my care for success, positive progress and personal resilience. I enjoy creating opportunites for joy, play and happy vibes in any setting. I have the experience and maturity to be a caring listener and quiet encourager as well. I have a minor in Psycholgy from an accredited university, a Teaching Certifcation and teaching English as a Second Language. I am a life long learner and have some knowlede of Spanish, French and Japanese. I embrace and celebrate other countries and cultures and although currently in Texas and orignially from Miami, Florida. I have lived abroad during college in Japan and for over a decade in England. I am highly adaptable, conscientous and enough fun to make the mundane memorable and brighten dreary days. I like to think of myself as a modern Mary Poppins. I am an animated reader and storyteller and have lots of fun animal and situation stories to entertain when appropriate. I also have a quiet, contemplative side that is self entertained with books, wordsearches and a good documentary. I sing nursery rhymes with toddlers, high five the cool kids and have respectful and agreeble conversation with my elders. I will blend in as needed and also know when take some space for indiivduals and or families to have private time.
