Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Rafaela, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you as a potential au pair. From a young age, I discovered my passion for caring for children and creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. Now, I’m excited to bring that passion into a loving home like yours.

I am a caring, patient, and dedicated person, and I always put the well-being of children first. I have previous experience taking care of children of different ages and cultural backgrounds, and I’m eager to share my love and knowledge with your family.

In addition to looking after the children, I’m excited to be involved in your family life and help with daily tasks—whether that’s preparing healthy meals, organizing creative activities, or even helping with light household chores. I’m here to be a loving extension of your family and provide all the support you may need.

I’m also enthusiastic about the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture and learn from you. I’m open to new experiences and look forward to exploring your beautiful city together, as well as sharing my own culture and traditions.

Experience

My experience caring for children has been an incredibly rewarding and enriching journey. Although I have not been an au pair before, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to care for my goddaughter, my godson, and also my younger cousins over the years.

Caring for them has not only taught me to be responsible and attentive to each child’s unique needs, but also allowed me to develop deep and meaningful emotional bonds. I learned to be patient, understanding, and to create a safe and welcoming environment where they felt truly loved and cared for.

Playing, teaching, listening, and supporting these children became part of my daily routine, and each moment was an opportunity for mutual growth and learning. I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of love and connection in helping children grow and develop in a healthy and happy way.

Although my experience hasn’t taken place in another country as an au pair, it has uniquely prepared me to take on this responsibility in a new and challenging environment. I’m excited to bring all the love, care, and dedication I’ve developed while caring for these children into the life of a new host family.
