Letter to the family

Liebe potentielle Gastfamilie,
Ich heisse Etoile und plane ab Oktober 2024 mein Gap year. Dabei würde ich gerne vom Oktober bis und mit Dezember (nach Absprache auch bis im Januar) als Aupair in und Nachhilfelehrerin in China arbeiten.

Ich bin eine aufgestellte Person, die immer am lachen ist und bin sehr motiviert vieles zu lernen!
Ich bin selbständig und verantwortungsbewusst, da ich Erfahrungen in diversen Nebenjobs (wie zum Beispiel im Verkauf) gesammelt habe. Auch würde ich mich als pünktlich, vertrauenswürdig und diszipliniert bezeichnen, aber gleichzeitig auch fröhlich und flexibel.

Zum leben benötige ich nicht viel, da ich sehr unkompliziert und schon unglaublich dankbar wäre, wenn ich eine passende Gastfamilie finden würde.

Durch meinen Gymnasiumabschluss habe ich ein breitgefächertes Wissen für die Schulfächer und wäre glücklich dieses teilen zu dürfen. Ausserdem reise ich in meinen Ferien oft und habe so auch schon viele Kulturen und Sprachen kennengelernt.

Ich hoffe das gibt Ihnen einen kleinen Eindruck von mir und würde mich freuen Sie kennenzulernen!

Experience

Erfahrung mit Kindern habe ich noch nicht sehr viel, aber ich bin natürlich offen neue Erfahrung zu sammeln. Ich konnte bisher nicht viel Zeit mit Kindern verbringen, weil ich immer die jüngste in unserer Familie war, aber wenn es ab und zu trotzdem dazu kam, dass Kinder da waren (beispielsweise in einem Surfcamp in Portugal letztes Jahr), habe ich mich immer sehr gefreut mit ihnen zu spielen.
Nachhilfe habe ich auch noch nicht offiziell gegeben, aber ich habe immer meinen Mitschülern gerne geholfen!

Meine Motivation für den Aufenthalt in China, ist, dass ich gerne chinesisch lernen will, da meine Mutter aus China ist, ich aber nur chinesisch verstehe (und noch nicht spreche…). Ich bin interessiert an der chinesischen Kultur und würde gerne erfahren, wie es ist in einer chinesischen Familie zu leben.
