Letter to the family

Hello, my name is Anna, I'm Hungarian-British (fluent in both languages) and starting to learn German, I'm currently finishing my foundation degree in Art and Design and have previously studied Game design.

I would like to become and Au pair because I like working with/entertaining children and can integrate my passions into an engaging environment for them. I think it would also be beneficial for both a host family and myself to exchange languages and cultures.

As a person I am a little bit shy to start out with but love engaging with conversation and doing activities with other people. I'm creative and can create child friendly activities that don't involve social media (as I don't really like it myself). I'm also independent and can manage most household tasks.

Experience

I think the greatest influences in my life are my older brothers, who have supported my personal development and interests while also being able to connect to me as someone closer to my age, so I hope I could provide a similar experience to other children. I think living and connecting with other people from different cultures is so important too, so I really look forward to engage with my future host family.

I'm also very involved in my own community which has led me to guide and chaperon children while doing public walks and and running craft workshops too. I have also done a small bit of babysitting for friends, all of this has been a very positive experience working with children. I'm more than happy to provide a reference if requested.
