My name is Amber and I am from Orange County, California, USA. I am currently living with my parents in Orange, California, USA. English is my first language, but I am also fluent in Spanish because of my Peruvian and Nicaraguan background. I am also learning German everyday on Duolingo. I visited Germany last summer for a few days and I absolutely fell in love with the country. Other countries I have visited include Spain, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Peru, and Nicaragua. I have been working as a server for 2 years but I am finding myself unhappy in my job and want to discover what job I could be passionate about. I want to become an au pair because it sounds like an amazing opportunity to get me out of my comfort zone on a new adventure where I can meet new people from a different country. I’m always willing to learn and I believe that is what qualifies me to become an au pair. I’m not afraid of learning new tasks or learning new languages and I am willing to work hard to become the best au pair to my host family!
