Letter to the family

My name is Isabella, I’m 28 and from Brazil. I previously worked at an English school with children of different ages, supporting them between classes and ensuring their safety and comfort, I also got to teach a group in that same school. Later, I spent nearly two years in the U.S. as an au pair, caring for two young children aged 2,5 to 5 years old when I first got there (one with special needs), which was a truly meaningful experience.

After my Au Pair ended, I spent some time in Europe and I’m now back in Brazil working as a fashion designer; my graduation field. While I enjoy my job, I miss the cultural exchange and close connection with families that the au pair experience brings.

I’m vegan, love arts and crafts, enjoy outdoor activities with kids, and am a big animal lover (I have five pets!), I also have as mentioned above, experience with a special needs child that required daily exercises to support the recommendations of her therapists and medicine administration. Experience

I have solid experience both as an au pair and working with children in my home country. Before becoming an au pair, I worked at an English school in Brazil, supporting children of various ages as a tutor and monitor — helping them between classes and making sure they were safe and cared for while waiting for their parents.

I later spent almost two years in the United States as an au pair, caring for two children between the ages of 2.5 and 5, including one with special needs. It was a very rewarding time where I learned how to support children’s development with patience, creativity, and empathy.

I would love to become an au pair again because I truly enjoy working with children and being part of their learning and growth. I also value cultural exchange and the opportunity to live with and learn from a new family while sharing my own culture, language, and values. It's a meaningful way to grow personally and professionally while doing something I genuinely love.
