Hi there,

My name is Jaimie, and I'm a Canadian who has just finished a year abroad working as an Au pair and nanny in Australia. I'm excited about the opportunity to join a family as an au pair. I'd love to become part of a household and bring my passion for childcare to your family.

I've always been drawn to nurturing and guiding young minds. I love engaging with children, fostering their growth, and being a positive influence in their lives. The idea of becoming part of a family home, where I can contribute to the children’s development and happiness, truly excites me.

I have a strong background in childcare, customer service, youth support work, lifeguarding and summer camp facilitation which has equipped me with the skills to manage responsibilities efficiently and with care. My volunteer work in conservation and hands-on experience on farms have solidified my work ethic and dedication.

I enjoy engaging in creative play and sparking the imagination of children through arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor adventures. My experience as a swimming instructor also ensures children’s safety and confidence in the water.

I'm excited about the possibility of joining a family and providing a loving, stimulating environment for children.

Experience

I have experience working as a nanny and au pair for multiple families both in Canada and Australia. During my time I've cared for children of various ages, and up to 5 children at once. I focus on fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and compassionate support. I take pride in creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and inspired to explore their creativity.

Additionally, I have worked as a youth support worker, helping care for and manage group homes for at-risk children and teens in the community. This role has equipped me with the skills to handle diverse and challenging situations, providing guidance and stability to those who need it most.

I am eager to be a positive role model and support for a like-minded family, bringing my dedication and enthusiasm to help your children thrive. My goal is to make a meaningful impact on their lives and contribute to a harmonious family dynamic.
