Letter to the family

Dear Host family,
my name is Maria, I’m from Italy and I just turned 69.
I live in a city in the south of Italy, Castellammare di Stabia near Naples. I am an English teacher, I have worked in middle and high schools for 35 years. I have now been retired for four years. When I was young I lived in London and in Liverpool to prepare my english exams.
I have two children, Alessandro, 36 years old and Roberta, 34 years old. Alessandro lives in Genoa (North of Italy) and he is a civil engineer. Roberta lives in Naples and she is a teacher.
I currently live with my husband Pasquale, an architect.
I would like to become a granny au pair to keep my English trained and to have a new and exciting experience. I love traveling and I have visited a lot of Counties.
I have a good relationship with children and I would like to be their grandmother. I am a very flexible person, capable of adapting to different life contexts. I like cooking and taking care of children.
