Although I haven’t worked as an Au Pair yet, I have valuable experience caring for and supporting children in different roles. I’ve worked as a nanny, where I was responsible for daily routines, preparing meals, organizing activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for the children. This role taught me how to balance fun with structure, and how to respond calmly and responsibly in unexpected situations.

I’ve also worked as a tutor, helping children with homework, reading, and school projects. This allowed me to develop strong communication skills and the ability to explain things clearly and patiently. I always tried to make learning enjoyable and boost the children's confidence in their abilities.

Additionally, I served as a teacher’s assistant, where I supported classroom activities, helped manage groups of children, and provided individual attention when needed. This role helped me understand how to work as part of a team and follow educational routines and goals while still connecting with each child on a personal level.

On top of all that, I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience with my younger siblings, who are now 7 and 9 years old. From diaper changes to helping with schoolwork and resolving sibling squabbles — I’ve been through it all!

I learned about the Au Pair program from my mom, who was an Au Pair herself. Her positive experience inspired me to pursue this path, and I feel confident that my background working with children has prepared me well for the responsibilities and joys of becoming an Au Pair.
