Valentina (21 / Ms. ), Italian & Ecuadorian, Unemployed living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in Canada, Ireland, Japan, South Korea & United Kingdom for 10-12 Months

I have never been an Au Pair before, so this would be my first experience. I have also never participated in cultural exchanges through school. I learned about the Au Pair program through social media and immediately became interested, because I would love to have this kind of experience. I have seen many people go to other countries to improve the language they are interested in, and soon become almost like native speakers. I have always believed that you truly learn a language or a culture by being in contact with local people, and that is exactly how I would like to do it too.
I also really enjoy being with children, and I think this experience would be perfect for me because I would be with them all day, rather than just a few hours like I do here. This would allow me to build stronger bonds with the children and gain more experience in caring for them.
