Morgan (24 / Ms. ), American, living in USA looking for Au Pair job in Australia, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands & Spain for 10-12 Months

Hello!

My name is Morgan and I am currently working in the US as a Financial Analyst for a commercial real estate company. I graduated from college in 2021 with a major in Finance, Business Administration, and Management, and a minor in Spanish.

It has always been my dream to travel and live in another country. I took my current position with the hopes that I could transfer to our Madrid office, but unfortunately due to current economic conditions, this does not look to be possible. In my search for another role where I could potentially travel, I came across a blog about becoming an Au Pair. This was an industry I had heard of before, but never truly looked into as I was worried about traveling across the world to live with a family I'd never met. Although this thought is still frightening, much of my research shows that families you match with on sites such as this are very well vetted. I realize this might also be a concern for families in hosting someone from a foreign country, and hope that my letter helps to ease some of those fears in you.

There are many things that I believe qualify me for this position, the most important being my experience with children. I grew up teaching tennis to kids aged 4-15 and was a nanny most summers, with the largest family I've worked with having four kids aged 2-11. I also have a sister who is 13 years younger than me, so I have witnessed first hand how difficult it can be to raise a child.

I'm excited to continue this process, and hope to find a great family to work with.
