Breanna (22 / Ms. ), Australian, Child Care Worker living in Australia looking for Au Pair job in Canada for 6-12 Months

Hello,
My name is Breanna, I am 22 and currently an Au Pair in Ontario Canada. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as traveling and reading. My family includes my mum, dad, older sister, and younger brother. I also have a large extended family including younger and older cousins that I spend time with and help look after when needed.

I have a true passion for working with children and have been continuously studying since completing year 12 at the age of 18, moving into the ECEC sector shortly after. I have completed my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care and will have completed my Diploma by October this year. Throughout my time in the ECEC sector, I have worked with children from the age of 4 months-5year old. Over the past two years, I have worked closely with babies aged between 4 months - 2 years old as Room leader. Within this position I had many roles such as programming for developmental needs, extending and encouraging children to reach their milestones, documentation of learning, creating bonds with children, communicating with families verbally as well as in written form, and nurturing children. Along with these, I was also responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of the room as well as everyday routines for children such as nappy changes, meal times, and rest times.

I would love the opportunity to broaden my knowledge and experience by becoming an Au-pair as it includes two of my passions, children, and travel. I believe with my experience and background within an education and care-based sector that becoming an Au-Pair would allow me to extend my knowledge, skills, and experience whilst also benefiting your children. I have a passion and believe child lead learning is important whilst also valuing the importance of intentional teaching. I love creating engaging and interactive activities for children to create some hands-on learning experiences.

I look forward to this next chapter/ adventure and am excited to start this journey.
