Maria (22 / Ms. ), Finnish, Graduate (high school) living in Finland looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in South Korea & China for 6-24 Months

Hello my name is Maria and I'm 22 year old. You surely got a lot of these letters from prospective Au Pairs, but rest assured, you will not regret to read about my reasons why I want to become your Au pair.

I'm currently living with my mom and little brother in Helsinki, which is a main city of Finnland. My dad lives in my childhood house what is only 20 minutes walk away so I see him regulary. At the moment I'm working in barista at the cafe and substitute kindergard teacher.

In my spare time , I love to go dancing. I have own dance group where I have been almost 5 years and before joining there I was in 3 years in dance studio student. During few years I have tried to also travel as much I can because traveling is one of my passion to do. Other my favorite things to do is read and watch series.

In 10 years I have got many kind of experience with kids. I have been in summer and winter camps as a camp counselor. I have also taken care my little cousins and I have been doing in secondary school work practice program in my old elemantary school.
I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. I am prepared and I am well aware of the fact that being like a big sister for your children comes along with responsibilities for them and it will not always be just play and fun. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.

Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.

I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because new enviroment can make me tired and same time getting to know your children. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you.

I have never spent longer time abroad except from holidays but I am used to not seeing either my dad or my mom for more them month so I don’t think I will become particular homesick.
