Dear Future Host Family,

Hello from the other side! ? I’m so happy and excited to write this letter to you. My name is Bahar, and I would love to become a part of your family as your next Au Pair and nanny in the beautiful UK. Just the thought of sharing daily life with you, helping care for your children, and creating special little memories together puts a big smile on my face!

Let me tell you a bit about myself. Ever since I started university over 7 years ago, I’ve been working with children in different ways — and honestly, it’s been the most heartwarming part of my life. I started as a part-time babysitter, and over time, I had the chance to care for children of many different ages — from curious little toddlers to talkative and creative school kids. Every child I’ve looked after has taught me something new — how to be patient, how to listen with my heart, and how to turn even an ordinary day into something magical.

Besides babysitting, I’ve also worked as an English tutor for children. Helping kids learn a new language has been such a fun and rewarding experience for me. I always try to make lessons playful and full of laughter — with games, songs, drawings, and storytelling. I believe that children learn best when they feel loved, supported, and free to express themselves — and that’s the kind of energy I bring with me.

Why do I want to be an Au Pair? Because I don’t just want to travel — I want to belong. I want to be there for your family, not just as a helper, but as a big sister figure your kids can count on. Someone who’s always ready with a hug, a bedtime story, a helping hand with homework, or just a silly dance in the kitchen when the mood calls for it!

You should host me because I truly care. I’m responsible, warm, and full of positive energy. I know that entrusting someone with your children is a huge decision, and I would treat that trust with the deepest respect. I’m tidy, reliable, and happy to support your family’s routines — whether that’s preparing meals, keeping things organized, or just creating a calm, loving environment for your little ones to grow in.

I’m also very curious about British culture and would be thrilled to experience it firsthand, while also sharing some bits of mine — maybe a few songs, some fun words, or dishes from my kitchen to yours. ?

Experience

My journey with childcare started more than five years ago, when I began university. Since then, I’ve worked as a babysitter and private nanny for many wonderful families, caring for children of all ages — from bubbly toddlers to energetic school-aged kids. Over the years, I’ve taken part in everything from meal preparation and bedtime routines to helping with homework, organizing playdates, and even creating fun educational games to make learning feel like an adventure.

In addition to childcare, I’ve also worked as an English language tutor for children. Teaching has helped me understand the importance of patience, communication, and building a strong, trusting bond with each child. I always try to combine fun with structure, creating a loving environment where kids feel happy, safe, and confident to be themselves.
Being around children makes me feel alive — their curiosity, creativity, and pure hearts constantly inspire me. With each family I’ve worked with, I’ve not only taken care of children but also formed beautiful connections that have stayed with me long after.

Becoming an Au Pair abroad is a dream come true for me because it combines everything I love: caring for children, learning about new cultures, and becoming part of a family beyond borders. I believe that the most meaningful travel experiences happen when you truly live like a local — and what could be more local than joining a family’s daily life?
I want to experience British culture not as a tourist, but as a loving, helping member of a home. I’d love to take part in your traditions, try new foods, explore your city — and at the same time, offer your family the comfort of knowing your children are in warm, capable hands. I also look forward to sharing little parts of my own culture with your children through stories, language, and laughter.
