Dearest future host family,

My name is Johanna, I am an 19-year old highschool graduate from Finland.
I graduated valedictorian and worked at a school for six months, I enjoyed my time in there and got great feedback,(staff members and children too :D!) But I hope to broaden my horizons and work abroad as an Au Pair!
I have also been a trained camp counselor, tutor, scout, and hosted afterschool clubs of cooking, arts and games. I also worked as an caregiver for the elderly, disabled and children.
I am an responsible person, whom has lots of expirience in the field, and I feel I could make a good addition to your family!

Experience

New language and culture? No problem! I come from an international family, a combination of Greece and Finland! Our family has always had friends from all over the world, so I have grown up to be quite an international person myself.
When I was 16, and got the opportunity to travel through volunteer work, it has been hard to stop since!
I did an semester abroad in France, and it was fantastic! I am hoping to do an similar exhange of cultures and getting to be a part of an local family to learn as much as possible about my temporary home! I would love to participate in your hobbies, day to day life, meet your family and friends!
I think working as an Au Pair could give me the opportunity to feel the joy of getting to be a part of a new culture and staying abroad longer and as well, being with children!
