Hello families!

My name is Hani (pronounced similarly to 'honey'), I'm 24 and I'm from Malaysia. I graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology (community and development).

During this gap, I took some time to understand myself as an individual and picked up a few skills, as well as figuring out my path in the future. I did some traveling across Southeast Asian countries and took on new challenges, such as enhancing my Korean skills and crafting unique art on press-on nails. I also became an online tutor, teaching Korean to people of all ages, and Maths (Abacus) and English to toddlers.

I prefer getting a German-speaking family as my future host. I think that having a host family would be a great support system and my pillar of strength in Europe as I plan to continue my path to having a German-speaking profession later. In exchange, I could be a figure to provide exposure to your children about Southeast Asian culture, food, history, and so much more. I'm also confident in helping your children with their homework, so they will not only benefit from care but also gain knowledge in multiple fields!

WHY DO I WANT TO BE AN AU PAIR?

• To learn German language
• To prep myself for my next goal (having a German-speaking profession) and to adjust to the culture
• To enhance my skills in working with children

NANNY EXPERIENCE
I looked after my baby cousin when he was 1-3 years old. I lived at their place, made him milk, fed him meals, changed his diapers, and took him to the park for playtime. With my psychology degree, I picked up some insights into child psychology, which helped me to provide not just supervision to children but actively engage in activities that promote their emotional, social, and intellectual development. Now that my cousin is 6 years old, I still take care of him from time to time if he's in town, and I also teach him Maths and English online.

- Languages: Malay, English, Indonesian, Korean, Deutsch & a little bit of Japanese
