Letter to the family

Hello - I'm Rachel, a 25 year old from London, England. I have worked with children and young people over the last 8 years in a variety of paid and voluntary roles. I'd now love to become an Au Pair/Nanny abroad to support a lovely family while exploring a new country and culture. I am fun, creative, a great listener and very caring. I am also clean and tidy person and easy to get on with many people!

I have experience as a babysitter and nanny with children aged between 9 months-16 years. I worked with one family across 4 years, helping with school pick-ups, homework, cooking and activities to support their development and growth. I also have relevant education as I received a First Class degree in Psychology at University of Leeds, as well as training in Safeguarding, First Aid and Child Protection.

Experience

I have experience as a babysitter and nanny with children aged between 9 months-16 years. I worked with one family across 4 years, helping with school pick-ups, homework, cooking and activities to support their development and growth. I loved building the strong connections not only with the children but with the entire family. I'd now love to work abroad to experience a new country, culture, language and meet wonderful family.

I have also worked at a children's Art Club is a primary school and children's parties, where I supported students with their artwork and facilitated their creative expression. I've also worked as a tutor for school children and volunteered to support young people's mental health.
