My name is Rebecca, I am 24 years old and I am currently attending the master's degree course in Psychology of Well-being at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. After four and a half years of working to support myself in my studies, I decided that the time had come to give myself an experience that I had wanted for a long time: to leave as an au pair. I found the courage to quit my job and put myself on the line, driven by the desire to live an adventure abroad, discover new cultures and grow both personally and professionally. I think I am an excellent candidate because I am an enterprising, curious and open-minded girl, with a great desire to learn and have new experiences. I have a brother who is ten years younger, and this has taught me a lot about the needs and difficulties of childhood and adolescence. Furthermore, during my third year of university I did an internship in a center that deals with children with autism spectrum disorder, an experience that deeply enriched me and allowed me to develop specific skills in relating to the little ones.
