Alexandra (19 / Ms. ), Mexican, Au Pair living in Mexico looking for Au Pair job in France, Italy, Monaco & Switzerland for 4-12 Months

I was born and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, a beautiful coastal city known for its beaches, warm weather, and friendly people. Growing up in such a vibrant and welcoming place has made me open minded, cheerful, and very connected to my culture.

I come from a big and loving Mexican family, all of us are from Mexico. I have four sisters of different ages, which has given me lots of experience with children and a strong sense of responsibility. I currently live with my mom and one of my sisters, who is 14 years old. My mom works in real estate and is a very hardworking and inspiring woman. My oldest sister moved to Milan three years ago to study design at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti). She’s the one who introduced us to the beautiful Italian culture. Now she speaks Italian fluently, and that inspired me to want to live a similar experience abroad!

My first language is Spanish, as I was born and raised in Mexico. However, I’ve been learning English since preschool. In my country, it's very common to speak English because the United States is right next to us, and many schools include it as a strong part of the curriculum.
From a young age, all of my subjects in school were taught in both Spanish and English, so I’ve grown up completely bilingual. I can speak, write, and understand English very well. In sixth grade, I also began learning French. I don’t speak it fluently, but I do know the basics.
Three years ago, my sister moved to Italy, and since then, she has shared a bit of the Italian language and culture with us. A few months ago, I started taking Italian classes. I'm just beginning to learn, but I already understand some basic words and phrases. I really enjoy it and hope to keep improving.
I'm someone who learns quickly, when I set a goal for myself, I work hard to achieve it. My goal is to speak fluent Italian, which is why I decided to move to Italy. I think it’s such a beautiful language, and I’m incredibly excited and motivated to learn it as soon as possible.!
