Hello!

I'm Liv, a graduating student from Perth, Australia, who is passionate about languages and travelling!
I have grown up travelling throughout my life, and through these experiences have really come to appreciate actually living in a different country and learning the language and the people! I have been very dedicated to my studies in high school, where mathematics and physics have been my strengths, as well as having studied Italian. Becoming an au pair and tutor is an amazing opportunity for me as it would allow me to explore places I have not visited like a local, and with support from people that love and know the places they live. It would also allow me to share my knowledge and perspective from a very different culture on the other side of the world! I love children and developing a relationship with them and seeing them grow is a privilege I hope to enjoy. It is of the utmost importance to me that your family is happy and comfortable while I am with you, and I hope to support your children's growth and wellbeing!

I believe that I am a great candidate for this role, due to my experience with siblings, amiability, and high performance academically. During my exchange I had Italian host siblings that were six and ten years old and did not speak my language, so I am adaptable and experienced in forming bonds and taking care of children despite language barriers. I also have two younger sisters at home, and I understand how to entertain them as well as staying on schedule! My time in Italy also allowed me to become aware of the differences between living at home and with other people, I am easy to get along with and am happy to adapt to any family rules even if they differ from those I am used to. I have a very easy going personality, and am comfortable both spending time alone and with young children, who I have been around my whole life. For the tutoring role, I have achieved good results consistently in my education, as well as taking on tutoring as a part-time job during high school, so I have experience teaching younger people! I have experience babysitting children of 6-12 years, where I helped them with homework and developing skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
