I would like to become an Au Pair because I’d like the opportunity to travel and broaden my experiences within childcare so that I can pursue a career in the field in the future. I would like to be hosted as I am honest, kind, compassionate, dedicated, hardworking; but most of all I would place your child’s needs above all else. I feel that I qualify for the position because I have previous experience working with children as a mentor in both secondary school and college, helping students adapt and feel more comfortable within environments. The role involved me helping students understand subjects they were struggling in and any issues or concerns they were having in either their academic or personal lives. Furthermore, I was a teaching assistant in martial arts, self defence and weapons training which required me to demonstrate discipline, honesty, loyalty and above all safety. I have got experience in babysitting and childcare including a child that had severe autism, ADHD and a hearing impairment.
