Hello!! My name is Ronnie, and I’m a part-time teacher, student, and summer camp program director from Southern California! I’ve been caring for and working with kids all my life here in Cali, and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to become part of your family life and dynamic. My biggest values are kindness, compassion, and humor— making me very familiar and well-equipped to the challenges and joys of caring for children!Working with my students and campers is the highlight of my days, and having the opportunity to watch them grow and develop into well-adjusted teenagers and young adults is a privilege that i get emotional thinking about! It would be my privilege as well to experience that same nurtured growth and happiness with a family across seas and borders.

Experience

I have my CPR/First Aid certifications for children and adults, as well as a C-Class driver’s license; I’ve been working as a part-time after school teacher for children between the ages of 5 and 15, as well as the director of the Arts Program for one of the top summer camps in the US (working with children between the ages of 7 and 17). At this camp, we provide 24/7 supervision, physical activities like rock climbing, outdoor living skills, mountain biking and boarding, aquatics, and, of course, visual and performing arts!! Our central focus both at camp and school is to provide the experiences and environment (meeting physical, emotional, and social needs), in order to provide support for children to be their best selves.
