My name is Akila, and I am a warm, responsible, and open-minded individual with a deep love for children and cultural exchange. I come from Sri Lanka, and I’m a vocational training student. I'm excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair & Nanny, not just as a job, but as a meaningful journey of learning and growing alongside a wonderful family like yours.

Becoming an Au Pair is a dream for me because it combines two of my biggest passions: caring for children and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy spending time with kids, helping them learn, grow, and express themselves creatively. Experience

I have nearly five years of experience working as a Support Staff member at GEMS Cambridge International Private School in Sharjah, UAE, where I closely supported both teachers and children in a multicultural school environment. My responsibilities included supervising children, assisting with classroom activities, ensuring their safety, and providing emotional and practical support throughout the school day. This experience gave me a deep understanding of children's needs, behavior, and development across different age groups.

Although I have not worked as an official Au Pair yet, my background has prepared me well for this role. I am used to managing routines, helping with learning, encouraging positive behavior, and making children feel safe and cared for.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because it combines my love for children with my passion for cultural exchange. Living with a host family will allow me to learn a new language, adapt to a different way of life, and build meaningful relationships, all while doing something I enjoy — caring for children. I see this as not just a job, but a life-changing opportunity for personal growth and global experience.
