Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Steinunn Lóa and I'm 22 years old, from Iceland. I love singing, dancing, acting and doing yoga. I go a lot to the swimming pools here in Iceland and I love staying out in the nature. I'm very joyful and open-minded and I love meeting new people. When I was 17 years old I moved to Spain for one year as and exchange student and lived with a spanish family and went to spanish school. It was the best year of my life and I really got close to my host family. By going to a French and getting to know a new family would be amazing. I would do my best to bring joy to the family and of course take very good care of the children.

Experience

I've worked a lot with children, both on a kindergarden (for 1 year) and currently I work as a child care provider in the National Theater of Iceland (more than 1 year). I've also worked in a summercamp for five summers, where I took care of kids on a big age range. Above that, I have been babysitting few kids since I was a teenager. I want to become an Au Pair because I love meating new people, learning new languages and knowing more cultures. I studied french for 1 year in college and for the last year I have been practicing it on Duolingo (I have almost 250 day streak btw!). Above my interest in french and the culture, I love children and they inspire me a lot. People say I'm very good with children and I'm very responsible. I am very aware of the resposibility that an au pair has and I'm ready for it!
