Letter to the family

I have spent the past two years working with children ages 3-5 in an English teaching environment. As a certified TEFL teacher who taught in Spain and France, I appreciate the challenges of raising children in a multicultural environment. While living abroad I have successfully completed a secondary English as a Second Language course as well as an Early childhood care program. Both of these programs have equipped me with not only the knowledge of development skills for young children but also the hygiene, physical and safety needs. Additionally, during both of these studies I have worked hands-on to implement the theory knowledge. I am looking for an Au Pair position as I am passionate about developing and providing fun,engaging and safe environments for children.

Experience

I initially began working as an English teaching assistant in Kindergarten classrooms in Spain. In the capacity of a music and story time leader, I developed a passion for activity planning and ways of fostering learning. Following this position, I moved to France where I worked as an English speaking nanny. In this position I was thrilled to engage with two children directly in their own home. I was able to participate in their language learning process and development. During this experience I studied and graduated with a CAP in early childcare. This french national level child care and development diploma, paired with an internship at a preschool equipped me with oth theoretical and practial experience. I am excited for this next opportunity to further develop my skills and as well foster the joy of learning and exploring the world for the young ones in your family.
