Hi,
I'm Claudio. I am an English as a Foreign Language Teacher from Chile currently living in Vienna working as an Au Pair since December 2024. Before coming to Austria, I worked and lived for 2 months in Münster (North-Rhine-Westphalia) where I had my first deep contact with German culture and language. My current contract expire in December 2025 just before Christmas.

I have been teaching English to children and teenagers for a couple of years both independetly and professionally. I also teach Spanish for non-Spanish speakers. Currently, I am working towards getting my Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. I have volunteered in the UK as an outdoor instructor at a lovely outdoor activity centre. I worked with kids and teenagers in a daily basis and I love so much experiencing their joy and gratitude towards our entertaining and fulfilling labor.

I possess a First Aid Qualification awarded after completion of my in-house training at my workplace in England.

Being an Au Pair in Austria has been a fantastic opportunity to fully experience foreign cultures, expand my horizons, learn other languages, and practise my teaching skills. I would be happy to positively contribute to my next family's life and being an excellent, supportive friend.

I don't smoke at all and drink alcohol very rarely. I love playing with and talking to kids as I have several children relatives which I oftentimes took care of since they were toddlers and I had to leave once I moved to England.

I was a short-term student in the UK back in 2022 and I have paid a visit to some friends and their families from France, Italy, and Spain so I am familiarised with the lifestyle and cultural norms from those countries.

I am a very energetic, healthy, and sporty person. I enjoy being outdoors, going for a walk, and take care of the environment and my surroundings.
