Laura (22 / Ms. ), Italian, Student living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in France for 1-2 Months

Hello, I am Laura, 21 years old, from Milan, Italy. I study International Politics and Government at Bocconi University in Milan. I am very passionate about children's rights and migration policy, two compelling topics that I had the chance to investigate further thanks to my degree.
If I have to describe myself, I would say that I am an extremely sociable person, being smiley, kind, and empathetic allowed me to create strong connections with people around me, even with different backgrounds and ages.
A second adjective that I would like to use to describe myself is motivated. My motivation is, first of all, academic, passion, and academic rigorousness allowed me to reach astonishing and rewarding results such as completing one exchange semester at the top-ranking Yale-NUS university in Singapore. Motivation also expands to my extracurricular activities where thanks to my commitment I am able to work as a babysitter and volunteer as well as be part of two student associations at my university.
The last adjective I use when introducing myself is adaptable: I have lived in Africa, Europe, and Asia in very different environments. My first experience that really shaped me as a flexible individual has been spending three months as an exchange student in South Africa at only 16 years old in local school.

I have significant experience with kids. I have been babysitting for 3 years for kids 3 and 5 years old every weekend. My main task is to spend time with them, cook for them and play with them. Additionally, as a member of the Italian Red Cross, I have volunteered with disabled kids, taking them to school in the morning. Lastly, in the summer 2022 I spent two weeks in Athens volunteering as a childcare provider and English teacher to kids of immigrant families.

My personality and my previous work experiences with kids make me a very good fit for the position.
