Mattia (18 / Mr. ), Italian, Student living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in Belgium, Canada, France, Ireland & Norway for 1-3 Months

Dear Host family

My name is Mattia. I’m 18 and I come from a small village in the North of Italy. I study Biotechnology at school. I study a lot of Chemistry of different types from Inorganic to Biochemistry, Biology and Anatomy too. When I don’t study, I like helping the community of my village. In winter, where I live, there are a lot of people that practice cross-country ski, and I am one of those people. I love teaching children cross country ski and sometimes, when I am free, I take them to some races; this is the best things of this hobby, to see my “learners” to compete.
In summer, in the village a lot of new families and children come and I and my friends from other villages organize activities for these children so they can stay there all over the morning for almost 3 weeks (in Italy we call this type of organization “ grest” or “ centro estivo”) . I love staying with children but I also like doing some works for the community like cutting the grass for the elderly people and cleaning the wooden paths from fallen trees.
In addition, I always try to find a summer job to earn some money, like working in a pizzeria as pizzaiolo or working in the woods with my father, so that I can pay for my trips or for my driving license .
This is me, a young man that wants to learn better another language and another culture.
