I'm Carol, a cheerful, positive, and confident person, passionate about sports like soccer, volleyball, and roller skating. I'm disciplined, committed, and always strive to maintain harmonious relationships with those around me. I have a degree in Business Administration.

I want to be an Au Pair to improve my English, experience a new culture, and take advantage of the opportunity to travel during the exchange program. I'm also looking for an environment that allows me to grow both personally and professionally, while being in contact with children, which greatly inspires and motivates me.

I'm responsible, caring, and adapt well to new routines. I value respect and kindness in family life and am ready to actively contribute to the household and with the children. I have experience being proactive, organized, and empathetic.

Experience

I've been taking care of children since I was 15 years old. My experience began with the birth of my younger sister when I was just 9, and I've been helping take care of her ever since—now she's 15. In addition, I always took care of two cousins who were very close to me, like siblings, since they were born.

Beyond my family, I also looked after many other children throughout my teenage years and early adulthood. One of them is João, who is now 8 years old. I took care of him from the age of 1 to 6. He's the son of a friend of my mother's. I used to pick him up from school and stay with him until his mom came home in the evening.

I also took care of Júlia, the daughter of a coworker, when I was unemployed. I looked after her from age 1 to 4 while her mom worked on weekends. Another child I cared for is Tereza, the daughter of a friend of my aunt. She's now 3 years old, and I looked after her from the age of 1 to 3.

Matteo was one of the children I cared for almost from birth—from age 1 to 6, when he started going to school. One of the most meaningful experiences in this journey was being part of the growth of Matteo, a boy who is now 2 and a half years old. I had the joy of caring for him from when he was just 4 months old. I was with him like a mother during those years.

All of these experiences have been very important for my professional growth, but even more enriching for my personal development. As I always say, being around children is the best kind of human interaction, because they are beings of light who represent true, genuine love.
