Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
Originally translated from Italiano
Hi, I'm Stefania, Ryan's mother, a sweet, lively and very clever 3-year-old boy!
We are simple people, we often spend time with our family with his grandmother, uncles and cousins!
Ryan is a smiling, sociable, lively and intelligent child, sometimes a little crafty... but capable of making himself loved by everyone! He loves motorbikes and playing with toy cars and tracks.
I am a mother in love with her son, available and open to advice but a little proud.
We live in Agrate Brianza, a town not far from Monza, Milan and Bergamo, all cities easily reachable by public transport.
Our house is located inside a typical farmhouse where grandparents and uncles also live, it is located on the outskirts overlooking a beautiful countryside.
Nearby you can take public transport that easily connects to Milan, Monza and Bergamo.
The apartment consists of a living room with kitchen, a bathroom, a bedroom and a bedroom available to the au pair.
We are looking for someone to help us with the daily management of the day and who does it by speaking to us in English;
Our typical day is more or less like this:
wake up at 7:00, we get ready and have breakfast, mom leaves at 7:30 to go to work and Ryan stays at home with the "nanny", between 8:00 and 9:00 there is the entrance to the nursery.
Mom leaves work at 15:15 and goes home or to do various errands, the "nanny" picks up Ryan at 16:00 and stays with him at the park or in the courtyard, at home or wherever they want until 18:30 then shower and dinner, after dinner we usually like to sit on the sofa and watch TV until we fall asleep!
We would like to establish a very familiar relationship with our guest and we would like him/her to feel free to express any opinion/feeling so as to be able to find a loving balance suitable for everyone.
We are looking for a girl/boy who likes to be with children, a cheerful and fun person, tidy, patient and very reliable who will teach Ryan the language simply by speaking to him and talking to him in English, in the time they will spend together which will be in the morning during the accompaniment to school and in the afternoon after the exit for about 3 hours so as to allow me to take care of the common management of the house (cooking, tidying up, etc.), all the rest of the time (so from 9 to 16 and after 20,) she/he will be free to follow any courses or occupy her/his time as she/he prefers, we ask for availability for some Saturday mornings or some evenings.
The au pair will be free to choose whether or not to come with us during any outings beyond the established times (visiting friends, trips, holidays, etc.) taking on any expenses.
Possibly available for long periods so as to be able to establish a lasting and trusting relationship.
We offer food, accommodation (personal room, shared use of bathroom, living room and kitchen) and a monthly salary of €250.
Our family is atheist with more philosophical than religious tendencies.
We do not follow particular dietary regimes, in fact we are big eaters!
We are for an education that teaches autonomy and lots and lots of love.
We can't wait to meet you and welcome you like a big sister/brother!!!!
