Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are a family of three, plus two cats. We are looking for an Au Pair, who would be a companion for 10 year old boy. We live in a house with a beautiful view in the suburbs of Ljubljana, in Medvode area. The house is surrounded by many hiking trails and bike tracks. We speak Slovenian, Russian and English, English is our primary family language. Me and my son are Russians and my husband is Slovenian.
We started living with an Au Pair in September 2023, and we've always had a great time together. We get along well, and it's important to us to treat AuPair like family.
Note if you are non EU/EEA citizen: we don't provide a visa, as it's usually issued for the short-term visit and we are aiming to have a long-term partnership. Apply with us if you have the possibility to stay in Slovenia for more then 3 month.
Job Description
- We would ask you to stay with my son about 3 hours after school time. We expect engaging in his creative ideas, encouraging him to explore and express himself.
- occasional help with the school homework (in english)
- preparing meals for my son and maybe occasional family dinner if you feel inspired

The house is on the top of the hill, with an amazing landscape view but isn't a walking distance to the town, Medvode town is about 10 minutes away by car and Ljubljana city center is about 25-35 minutes drive, so it's important that you have driving skills to move around freely. If you don't have your own car we might share one of ours with you.
