Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

I am aged 50 and I suffer from multi-sclerosis (MS). We offer to my care giver ( preferably a female care giver) a private room . The care giver will stay in the same house and share our family life and meals . The care giver will be given one day off every week. She will take care of me and keep conversation with me and my parents in either English or French. We also speak our native language (Creole) but no other language. The person we are looking for should be well built and energetic to help me when I have to move on bed and in the wheelchair. I am well built and tall. We have an electric hoist to lift me from bed to wheelchair and back , so for this there is no need for physical effort by the care giver. The care giver needs only to support my weight only when I have to move up and down in the bed or taking my bath.

Job Description

As I suffer from Multiple sclerosis, I need the assistance of a caregiver to help me transfer from my bed into my wheelchair. The care giver does not have to lift me physically for that purpose as I have an electric hoist. The care giver has to learn to operate the hoist but is very simple. The care giver however, has sometimes to move me on the bed to change my diaper. or to adjust my position in the bed .The care giver has also to give me my bath once I am transferred into the commode wheelchair with the help of my hoist. The care has to help me feed myself and keep conversation with me when I am not busy on my laptop.
