Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! We are a Mauritian family living in the beautiful village of Pointe aux Piment on the North coast of Mauritius. We have 2 adorable children, Kylian born in 2018 and Sia in 2020, who are our world and more! They are bright, open, creative and lively.
We also have2 dogs.
Dad and mum both works 45-55 hours a week. Dad is Head of Supply Chain for a big supermarket chain while mom is a project manager for an international pharmaceutical company.
Therefore, we would be looking for someone to be a great friend /good company and who can help us caring for the kids. We're not looking for a second mom, we're looking for a big sister, aunt, best friend.
We have a modest but cosy home of 3 bedroom, so the au pair would have a private room with use of a shared bathroom. You will be provided a car and we would encourage you to enjoy the island as much as possible during your free time.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to help out day to day with the kids and light housework (we have a cleaner). That means in the morning helping to look after the children, breakfast, getting them ready for school and in the afternoon: picking them up from kindergarten/ school, accompanying them to play or any other activities planned, helping them with their homework, preparing their dinner, having dinner together, getting the bed ready, teaching them to keep their playroom tidy. Most of the time we put the kids to bed ourselves, with job-related exceptions.
Working hours would be flexible. Most Saturday afternoon and Sundays are your free time but you can also have free time when the kids are at school
