Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We are a multinational family with a Japanese father and an American mother. Our girls are 1 and 3 years old and we have three very people-friendly cats. We live in a house in Sapporo city with a nearby bus stop and a subway station that is a 15-minute walk away. From the subway system, nearly anything in the city can be reached.

Job Description

Mainly we will need someone who is able to pick the children up from school and daycare which is located a block behind our house and to watch them for a few hours in the evening on weekdays until we return home from work. The mother also travels to the US periodically and will be away for a month at a time; the schedule of the au pair would not change due to this.

Unfortunately due to Japan’s visa restrictions, we can only accept Au Pairs who are citizens of Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom or Uruguay.
