Our world was rocked in 2006 when my mother became disabled from a medical error. We are looking for female caregivers with healthcare backgrounds to join our team. We typically hire caregivers from around the world with nursing or physical therapy backgrounds for the most part. We employ 5 full-time caregivers to provide 24/7 coverage for my mother's care needs through the Government of Canada Home Support Pilot Program. Currently, it is taking 7-44 months (yes- we had a caregiver approved in 7 months and one who took 44 months!) to process visa and work permits in this program. The contract is 3 years (36 months). Expenses of the application and transportation to Canada are the candidate's responsibility and this is for serious applicants who wish to immigrate to Canada. It is a temporary work permit, temporary resident visa and permanent residency application and right of permanent residency fee as well. This program ends June 17, 2024 and a NEW program will be announced. Current program will either be renewed or something else announced for caregivers.

We live in the second safest neighborhood in all of Canada. It is a 30-minute walk or bus ride to downtown. The bus stop is one block from our home. There are multiple language schools in our town. We also live very close to the ocean and in one of the most beautiful places in all of Canada.
