My mother is a French teacher and as such I have learned French from the age of 12. I have tutored French to high school students for many years to keep the language alive in my head but still struggle to find the opportunity to converse on a deeper level in French.
I finished school with an A in 1st year university level French but have since had little opportunity to practice. I still consider myself able to converse in French but want to get back to get back to my previous level of fluency.

I’m a family orientated person myself and so during my spare time I love to spend time with friends and family. There’s nothing I cherish more.
I also enjoy running, going to the gym and just generally trying to stay fit and well. It’s an important part of who I am and something I can always use to make me feel fantastic.
I’m also very musical, I love to sing and also play guitar to a high standard and have a basic knowledge of many other instruments too.
Dancing is something else I like to do, I’ve taken lessons in ballet and cheerleading throughout my childhood and it’s something I still try and pop along to if I get the opportunity.
Travelling, however is my favourite thing to do in my free time. Whether it’s a day trip to the beach, being a tourist in your own city or jet-setting off to see the world. I love it all.

Ultimately, this summer I want to challenge myself. I want to step outside my comfort zone and do something I never would have considered before.
I can’t wait to experience the way of life in another country. I want to see past what a normal tourist sees bobbing around the city. I want to see what life is really like living abroad so I can get a real feel for the culture and everyday life.
In addition, I would love to improve my french or learn a little of another language, whilst also maybe teaching my language to your children, so we can both learn from each other.
