My name is José Luis , I have 2 years of experience already on working with children ages 3 to 12 and I’m a 25-year-old bachelor degree graduate in Industrial design. I'm currently working as a graphic designer in a well stablished Mexican brand called Interlub. I have always wanted to live on another country and to be able to experience what that would be like sounds like a dream come true!

I like to think of myself as a very human, funny, sensitive, honest, loyal, caring and generally lovely guy to be around and to be friends with. I believe it is because I’m a very social guy who finds it very easy to interact and meet new people. When it comes to passion and hobbies I love and appreciate everything that has to do with art, it can be cinema, music, fashion, architecture, etc.

I was very lucky to be raised in a beautiful, caring and lovely family. They gave me every tool, every lesson and every opportunity to prove myself and become the man I am today. We are 5 members in my core family: mom, dad, oldest sister, middle sister and finally me being the youngest of the 3 siblings. My oldest sister has 3 amazing daughters that go from the ages of 1, 13 and 17 years old and his husband has a 13-year-old boy. I don’t mind taking care of them when the opportunity presents since I really like to interact, play, and learn with them.

I want to become an Au Pair to be able to work on a foreign place doing something very different and exciting than what I’m used to. I feel like I need a fresh start to be able to learn to live by myself, to train my English to have a better level than what I currently have, to be able to experience a new culture on a more personal level, learn their customs and traditions and to one day be able to become a father with my own kids and my own family.

I learned a couple of years ago that I am good with kids. I had the opportunity to work close with a lot of kids because I worked as an auxiliar/ helper for almost all the teachers that the school had at the time. The school had kids that ranged from the ages of 3 to 12 years old.

I learned so much from the kids in that amazing short period of time that as a result they made me revaluate my life. I discovered the term Au Pair a couple of months ago and when I learned it, I could just imagine all the possibilities that this new experience could take me. The thought of becoming an Au Pair really made me realize that if I were to succeed down the road with my own life I really have a long way to go in being prepared for when the time comes to build my own family, so I’m taking this opportunity as a way to grow my expertise and abilities with working with kids, to resolve problems quick and effective and to experience what living alone and working in another country would be like. To think that I can live that is just exciting, scary to say the least, but mostly very excited!

I think I am a good contestant for the job since I already have a good amount of year and expertise with working with children from different ages with different needs and personalities and the best thing is that I really enjoy it. I have the abilities to adapt and learn pretty fast and to also put a lot of my own input in to making things work for the family that needs my help. I can bring a lot to the table, and I know for a fact that I’m ready for the challenges, expertise, and sensitivity that this job requires from my part.

I know I am the best man for the position and the best by knowing I can always give my 1000% on doing the things that I love and care for the most. If I make a mistake, I learn from it and I take full responsibility on to solving it and to grow from it to be able to be more efficient down the road. I know how to drive, and I have already more than 5 years of experience doing it on a daily basis, I know how to swim and I really love to cook and bake for others, I love to travel and to have new life experiences but most importantly I know that I will think and care for the kids and the family as if they were my own.
