This letter is in regards to my interest in applying for your au - pair program. I am certain that I not only have the qualifications required for the role but also I think it is a valuable opportunity for personal and professional development.

My name is Angelica, I’m 22 years old and I’m from La Paz, México, a beautiful city in the northwest of my country. I am a senior student in a Marketing bachelor; simultaneously I work at the town hall, inside the Communications Department.

For me, empathy is a core value that guides my interactions with others, especially working with children. I understand the importance of connecting with each child on an individual level, recognizing and respecting their unique personalities and needs. By adding myself to a supportive and empathetic environment, I will contribute positively to their growth and well-being.

I have had various experiences with different cultures that have influenced how I see the world. This makes me really excited about the idea of being part of a family in London. Growing up around different types of people has helped me appreciate many cultures and understand the importance of being open-minded.
I'm really looking forward to share my own cultural background and learning from yours. I think it will be a great experience for both your children and me, so they can have a cultural immersion taking into account my Mexican traditions and roots, so they can have a real- life experience of what Mexican culture has to offer.

I believe my english proficiency is at an intermediate level (B2 level), with strong listening and reading skills. However, I acknowledge the need to practice and enhance my speaking abilities for more fluid conversations. In the month of May, I will be free from my commitments in Mexico, and I am actively seeking an opportunity to spend six months to a year abroad. My goal is to immerse myself in an english-speaking environment, further refining my language skills through practical and wonderful experiences. I am enthusiastic to explore new cultures, expand my perspectives, and improve my overall language skills during this period.
