Dear host family,

My name is Mariia, and I’m writing to introduce myself as a professional educator and a potential au pair for your family. I have a diverse experience working with people. I studied music education in college and spent a lot of time teaching children. My other undergraduate degree in banking allowed me to work in customer support at a bank. I worked in a support group for the junior children's debit card and educated children under 14 on financial literacy. I have always been inspired by how children discover the world, and I would love to be their guide.

I grew up with an older brother, who inspired me with his support and care. Now, as an au pair, I can become an older sister and share this care and support with your children. I am especially interested in working with toddlers and preschool-aged children, as I find their curiosity and energy to be incredibly rewarding.

I like creative and fun activities, like drawing, that can develop creativity and be fun for kids. As a teacher, I believe in taking care of the child's mental health, and I think that drawing helps express emotions and can handle them. I also think that sports can be very helpful for children. That’s why I would be happy to play badminton, go swimming or ice skating with them.
In addition to creativity and sports, I would be happy to add musical activities to your children’s lives. This could be learning to play piano, singing, or just learning musical instruments. I believe that music can inspire and teach useful skills like rhythm. And I am sure that this process can be easy and fun.

I am good at housework, especially cooking. If necessary, I can cook simple dishes, or share my skills in cooking national Armenian, Georgian, and Russian dishes, which will be useful for cultural exchange.
My goal is to dedicate my time and energy to your family, providing a safe and fun learning environment for your children. After completing my work as an au pair, I plan to come back home and work in children's music education, bringing my new skills and international experience that will help my future work.
