Dear Family,

My name is Manuel, pleased to meet you! :D

I am guy from Italy, Southern Italy to be precise! Surely this is a place I advice you to visit at least once in life.

I am from small Middle-class family of 4 person: my dad, which works at local post, my mom, which is recently pursuing her dream to become teacher and my older brother, currently employed in a radio network. We are grateful to have the biggest treasure of life: Love; in fact, we love each other and that makes us live happily and balanced. Love is the world's energy, you believe it or not.

At the moment, after a short experience in China, I returned to my country to attend University and get a bachelor degree.
I am also a beginner Chinese learner

I am here to find a nice family from any country who could welcome me in their family as family member..because that's what I will consider you: Family.

I hope together we will have fun, discover new things, but most importantly I hope Will learn together: learn our differences, our different traditions, our different uses...this is the biggest step anyone has to take: put ourselves out of put comfort zone and discover, meet people and learn to love and respect everyone in this world. The difficult situation with pandemic we just lived has made me open my eyes on this banal yet somewhat ignored thing.

I hope will be able to know each other: I will surely teach me more about my culture, as well as you will have the chance to welcome me to the life of your country, the usages, the culture, the food... But Obviously I will introduce you to the food of my country: I have been a cooking high school student and a cooker, before. So who better than me? :D

I can already imagine we , together, spending some beautiful time, doing amazing activities, like organizing small performances with your kids, and performing them in front of the whole family, sitting together and have a meaningful conversation, or discovering new amazing places together as a real family.. That's the lovely imagine I want to have of our experience.

And that's just the beginning!

I am a positive and optimistic person, so I know that anything I want, it becomes true. That's why I feel glad to have endless chances in life. And I like to show my gratitude for anything, even for things other consider small or unimportant.
I am sure you will appreciate my cheerful attitude at first sight.

What can I say about me? Sometimes I don't know how to describe myself, as I think a thousand words will never be enough to tell enough about myself.

Maybe I can try.

- I have been curious since my birth: curious to discover the world I live in, meeting new friends and learning about other cultures.
- I am social guy, who likes to meet people and learn about their life stories.
- I am eager to learn: that's why you mostly find me reading books, or websites which can teach me new skills
- I am reliable, trustworthy, fun and active: I think getting bored with me is almost impossible. I think I can bring much joy and a colorful cultural exposure to your family: after all I am southern Italian, and I can swear you, we are one of the most colorful people ln this world :D

If we want to learn to live peacefully together, we must learn to understand what is different from us. And accept that difference is completely fine.

The reasons I want to be aupair are a lot:
As I told previously, I love to visit new places and meet new cultures. The world is big, there are a lot of beautiful cultures and places to discover, so we have to try our best to start discovering them as soon as possible.

I love to discover places but as well people: listening to different opinions, understanding different points of view, exposing myself to different ways of living but also to do things.. That's what I believe to be the better source of knowledge... Experience beats theory anytime.

And especially, I like to stay with kids. A lot. I love sharing time with them, seeing their vibrant attitude, their endless creativity, their amazing willingness to discover new things with joy, curiosity, and especially without any prejudice. Probably is true they have to learn from us, but probably this world would be much better than what today is if we just learn from kids how to get their amazing attitude and joy of living back.
Given this, that's why kids, to me, are and endless source of inspiration... An inspiration to be taken by being the one who can take them by the hand and guide them in discovering life, while at the same time learning from them A LOT about the beauty of life as well.

So what's better than this program for me?

Aupair programs are a great chance, a definitive one. Especially for me: a chance I am really glad to use.

I want to offer you something which I feel from my heart: my friendship. I will be your and your child (or children) best friend.

As a Communications' student, I think communication is essential to create and mantain life lasting relationships. That's why I will always make sure there will be an adequate amount of moment during which we can discuss, share points of view, opinions, ideas, thoughts and constructive criticism.

Give me the chance to be part of your family: it will be a choice you will never regret.
