Hello! I am a 22 year old female from the United States looking to au pair in Europe. I have recently done a semester abroad in Lisbon, Portugal and I very much enjoyed my time abroad. Now I am looking to come back to Europe and do something more career and work focused. I would love to be an au pair because I would like to continue a cultural exchange as well as contribute to a family. I am currently studying Hospitality and Tourism with an Associates degree in Hospitality: Hotel Management. I believe that this degree has encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zones and try new things. I chose this degree because I love working with people. I am a very adventurous and social person. I would love the opportunity to work first hand with a family of a new culture; to be able to learn a lot from them as well as hopefully teach them things too. I think I am a good candidate for an au pair because I can bring a positive and hardworking energy to any task in front of me. I am a good team player, and do my best to always support those around me. I have skills with both children and animals, and I am open to expanding my skill sets to much more. I believe that I am qualified for this position because I have spent four months in Europe already and I am used to being in new environments. I am also very family oriented and believe that being an au pair can enrich my life in a whole new way.
