I hope this letter finds you in good health and filled with excitement as you search for your new Au Pair member☺️ My name is Sonja and I am thrilled about the opportunity to become part of your family and assist you in caring for your children.

The Au Pair program in the USA offers me the unique chance to explore a different continent and gain new experiences. I am eager to broaden my horizons and meet wonderful people like yourselves. What particularly fascinates me about being an Au Pair is the opportunity to have a personal connection to the place through the family, which makes integration much easier.
Interacting with children also allows you to see the world through different eyes and gain very valuable experience for your own future.

I have been gaining experience in working with children for three years now. I started with babysitting for children aged 3 and 5. In addition to that, I provide tutoring in various subjects such as Math, Spanish, and English, with my youngest student being 13 and my oldest student being 17 years old.

Personally, I am very affectionate and empathetic. My outgoing personality allows me to quickly integrate into your family. I am adaptable and able to connect with different personalities to support them individually. My spontaneity and openness to new experiences make me an adventurous and open-minded individual.

One quality I want to share with your children is my curiosity. I firmly believe that life becomes most interesting when you have a passion for something and approach the world with an open mind.

In my relationship with my host children, I see myself as a blend of an older sister, friend, educator, and in some ways, a role model. I expect my host family to consider me as part of their family and hope for a strong personal bond between us. Of course, such a bond takes time to develop, and I look forward to getting to know you through shared outings and exploring your favorite places together.

My previous experiences as a fundraiser in Austria have taught me to adapt and integrate into new groups. I am a cheerful and positive person, whose energy is definitely contagious. I am excited to contribute to family life in various ways, whether it's through sharing my own culture from Germany or taking initiative and being independent in household tasks.
