Letter to the family

Hi there, my name is Charlotte and I am 24 year old British female. Currently living in England but I am looking to spend some time in a new country/culture. I love working with children so I thought by becoming an au pair in a foreign country this will give me the perfect opportunity to work alongside experiencing a new culture. I hope my warm, friendly persona will be a welcome addition to your home and I can assure you that I will work hard to ensure your children are safe, happy and well looked after. I have an enhanced DBS and have undertaken both safeguarding and first aid training for previous jobs.

Experience

I worked one season as a day time nanny in a ski resort in France, working with children from 6 months to 12 years old. I have been a part-time au-pair for 2 children, aged 7 & 9, whilst living in France. I would move into their house for up to 3 days at a time when their parents were working away. I cooked & cleaned alongside caring for the children's day to day needs. Additionally, I have many years of babysitting experience. I have also worked with children in other settings, such as a my time as a children's ski instructor, on a Siblings and Young Carers charity project and as a health and wellbeing support worker. Furthermore, I have experience working with children with disabilities as I have volunteered on holidays for children with disabilities.
